It’s been an anxiety-ridden week for Kris Jenner.
Sources tell Confidenti@l that the “control freak” matriarch of the Kardashian clan is largely in the dark about what ex-husband Bruce Jenner will reveal in the hotly anticipated interview with Diane Sawyer. The talk, to air Friday, is expected to feature Bruce addressing reports that he’s transitioning into a woman.
We hear that Kris, who has tightly controlled the family’s media appearances and is an executive producer of the family’s reality show, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” is so nervous about the tell-all that she tried to talk the former Olympian out of doing it.
“Initially, she was really upset about it; the fact that he was going to address anything publicly,” said a source, “so the momager part of her, was like, ‘Hell, no.’ Bruce has never been allowed to
say anything. For him this is an ‘Eff you — this is my life!’ moment.”
We hear that at first, Kris “flipped” when Bruce confirmed he was doing the interview. She was worried he would “embarrass” the clan, especially their teenage daughtersKendall and Kylie.
“The older ones (Kris’ daughters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian) can handle it,” says the source.
