Sorry, Fanilows. It looks like Barry Manilow is a married man.
Multiple sources confirmed to People and Us Weekly that Manilow, 71, made it official with his manager, Garry Kief, last year in a private ceremony attended by "20-30 guests." According toPeople, the wedding was a surprise disguised as a lunch at Barry's home in Palm Springs, California. (Wonder if Manilow sang "Can't Smile Without You" to his husband at the ceremony!)
The two reportedly didn't sign any legal documents, but People says that both men have been spotted with wedding bands on their
respective fingers. Manilow and Kief "are committed to one another and have been for a very long time," adds the source. "They have a great relationship. Garry has always been there for Barry."
Manilow was briefly married to his high school sweetheart Susan Deixler in 1964, but their union only lasted a year. Deixler had the marriage annulled in 1966.
But the very private Manilow has, for the most part, kept his personal life under wraps and has never felt the need to discuss his sexual orientation. In 2012, he told The Telegraph he was "happily single." He continued, "I am a private guy... You can only come into my world if I invite you in."
